Informatica from Salesforce has embedded Meta Integration® Model Bridge in its data integration and metadata management products since the OEM agreement of January 2004. The bridges read PowerCenter mappings and workflows at the level of detail that lineage and impact analysis need, rather than at the level of source and target names alone.
Data integration
Import and export of sources, targets, mappings, transformations and workflows, including remote browsing of a live PowerCenter repository. Transformation expressions are parsed, which is what makes column-level lineage possible.

Metadata management
Model Bridge supplies the third-party metadata that Metadata Manager catalogs, a relationship that started when the product was called SuperGlue.

Catalog and governance
The catalog line inherits the same bridge coverage, so a scan reaches the modeling, BI and database tools that sit outside the Informatica estate.
